Residents in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, and the surrounding areas will be glad to know that they need not “wait in line” any more for a game of bowling with the opening of the new 28-lane Bangi Super Bowl alley this month.
The bowling alley, on the fourth floor of Bangi Utama shopping complex at Persiaran Kemajuan, was formerly the 12-lane Areana Bowl.
The management of Areana Bowl, which opened in June last year at the mall, had been taken over by Dunia Raya Enterprise Sdn Bhd.
Bangi Utama manager Chin Cheng Wan said the new management renovated the alley and added 16 new lanes to cater to the growing number of bowlers, especially during weekends.
“Areana Bowl had been getting a good number of patrons, including workers from nearby factories, residents and students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and other institutions in the neighbourhood.
“The alley had also hosted tournaments for government servants and private corporations whose offices are located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Kajang and Serdang,” added Chin.
Bangi Super Bowl has four VIP lanes with a private room for bowlers who want to bowl in privacy.
Work on the VIP lanes is under way and is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
Bangi Super Bowl is open daily from 10am to midnight. For details, call 03-82101336 or fax 03-82101332.
